Family-Friendly Biking

For families or those trying to get safely back into biking, the Dana L. Thompson Recreational Park in Manchester Center is a great place to start.   A one mile multi-use sure-pack loop runs along the perimeter of the park.  Though it is surrounded by beautiful mountain views, it is flat as a pancake. 

You can extend the ride by taking the path to Riley Rink at the northeast corner of the loop, near the dog park. Once on the wooded path, look to the right about 100 yards in and you’ll see the kids mountain bike path.
